This is a fabulous reconstructed solid pine and oak two door server / sideboard / dresser / side cabinet / hall cabinet.
The cabinet stands on a moulded bracket foot stile plinth, rising over which are four beautiful pine and oak panelled doors set
between solid oak pilasters with two frieze drawers over with a solid pine top and pine panelled sides.
The carcass of the cabinet probably dates from the late 19th Century having some later fitted re-made drawers having later fitted
solid brass handles. The cabinet comes complete with a working lock and key. The cabinet sideboard is surmounted by a solid pine
top having a later fitted back. Behind the doors there is a full height cupboard with pine baseboards.
Originally a shelf would have been fitted to the cupboard space but this has been removed at some period to provide a larger
storage space. A very attractive piece of furniture having a classic country rustic finish with a rich antique pine colour.
The cabinet carcass dates from the late 19th Century with later additions / adaptations.
Of very good quality and of good proportions, a good storage item. A beautiful item of regency style
The cabinet is in good condition, having an antique rustic appearance. The drawers run well. There is some old dead woodworm in the doors, which have been stripped at some period. This most certainly killed off the worm, otherwise a lovely quality piece of furniture with good character.
