MADE IN USA!!!!! This is an antique reproduction of an actual figurehead from the Clipper ship Jenny Lind. Made by NORTH COAST GALLERY CLASSICS, Port Clinton, Ohio, U.S.A.
The original was carved in Salem for the Clipper ship named for the popular Swedish Nightingale. The figurehead is 33 inches high, made of lightweight resin material. She is 18 inches wide at the widest point. It is airbrushed and distressed to look like old wood. It has very realistic details. Perfect decoration for a restaurant, rec room or cottage by the lake. OK for outdoors, too. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or PAYPAL accepted. E-mail me with any questions, or call us 419-732-3655. Thanks for looking!
**Our Figureheads are made one at a time. Paint colors may vary from the pictures shown.** North Coast Gallery Classics is one of only two companies that make these figureheads. Originally made by Nettle Creek Industries, the figurehead line was reincarnated in 1993 after being out of production for over twenty years. We have had our figureheads featured on the TV shows Trading Spaces Kids, One Tree Hill, and Twentieth Century Fox's The Finder. Two Jenny Lind figureheads are hanging in one of Disney's new restaurants in Orlando, Florida. Some are features at the Colonial American Exhibit at Universal Studios, Japan. We recently supplied the City of Salem, Massachusetts with unpainted Jenny Lind Figureheads for their Salem Beautification project. One of our Britannia figureheads was seen on a recent episode of Pawn Stars mounted on the front of a ship float.
