Heirlooms of Tomorrow was founded by William Bradley in 1944 at Manhattan Beach, California.
The company produced artistic forms of Dresden-type head busts and figurines from 1944-1955.
Many of these items had amazing lace detail that was applied onto the figures.
In 1955 the company moved to Torrance and took on it’s popular trade name as it’s actual name.
As California Originals, they produced a staggering assortment of drip-glaze pottery, house-ware and gift-ware in vibrant colors.
The company closed in 1982.
These lovely Dresden-type figurines are an excellent example of the items created during the early period.
She portrays a beautiful Victorian lady in a floor length, white lace gown of minute and larger lace patterns.
Around the waist are layers of delicate laces.
The puffed sleeves are unbelievable, as is the large lace hat adorned with applied flowers.
Each layer of lace is trimmed with gold.
Her lovely facial features, blue eyes, ruby lips,reddish brown long hair and expressionistic hands complete the image.

The condition is good but with areas of lace missing or broken generally typical for her age.
