I am completing my ENTIRE body of fordite jewelry in 2018. The collection will include pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings of both Corvette and Detroit Fordite. Once I have the collection completed I will no longer be creating with this awesome element so grab your favorites while they are available. Sorry...our Harley Davidson collection is now entirely SOLD OUT.
Fordite is old automobile paint from the Ford auto plant in Detroit that has been collected in the process of hand spraying the automobiles (the process is now automated). The paint accumulated layer upon layer and is then baked to harden it to the extent that it can be cut and polished. This material is now in finite supply so this is a very special piece of jewelry...each one very unique.
