Refined and re-envisioned, the PyroVault 2.0 Lighter Armor takes the ergonomics and function of our innovative lighter armor to the next level. The PyroVault 2.0’s durable exoskeleton, gasket seal, spring-loaded lid, & lanyard attachment will keep up with you no matter the mission.

The PyroVault 2.0 housing accepts a wider range of lighter inserts than the original Pyrovault.
Compatible: Zippo Single Torch, Double Torch, and Yellow Flame Butane lighters are all compatible with the PyroVault 2.0.
Compatible: Z-plus Butane Extreme Torch 2.0, Thunderbird Single Torch Flame, Thunderbird Vector, Blazer Top-Z Dual Flame Butane, Blazer Top-Z Dual Torch, Power Practical Sparkr Insert for Zippo Lighters, Zippo Electric Rechargeable, and Zippo Pipe Inserts are also compatible.
Not Compatible: a few butane, non-torch inserts use a spring-loaded cam to open the fuel valve. Because the PyroVault uses its own high strength opening springs instead, these inserts are not compatible.
DUAL-WALL, DUAL-COLOR EXOSKELETON FITS LOTS OF LIGHTER INSERTS: Tough, battlefield-grade protection and a better grip! The PyroVault 2.0 is compatible with Zippo Single and Double Torch, Yellow Flame, Classic, Pipe, and Electric Rechargeable Inserts. Also compatible with the Z-Plus Butane Extreme Torch 2.0, Thunderbird Single Torch Flame and Vector, Blazer Top-Z Dual Torch, Power Practical Sparkr Insert. NOT COMPATIBLE: Butane, non-torch inserts with a spring-loaded cam to open the fuel valve.
EASY TO USE WITH ONE HAND: The PyroVault features a stainless torsion spring and axle for reliable one-handed opening. In addition, the low-profile latch leaves space for easy striker-wheel access, for inserts that use a striker wheel. (NOTE: INSERTS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY)
FULL GASKET SEAL: Keep fuel in while keeping water, dust and dirt out. Thyrm’s innovative design prevents evaporation of precious fuel, increasing the reliability of your lighter insert. The PyroVault is waterproof but NOT dive rated, so is not suitable for prolonged, deep submersion.
HIDDEN TINDER-QUIK FIRESTARTER INCLUDED: Every PyroVault 2.0 Lighter Armor comes with a genuine Tinder-Quik Firestarter that can be stored inside and below the insert you choose. This is useful in survival, camping, hunting, and hiking situations when dry tinder might be hard to find.
FULL SIZE LANYARD HOLE: Improve retention in the field by attaching your own lanyard to the PyroVault’s lanyard hole. You can permanently attach your lighter to a backpack, belt loop, or other gear, while having the flexibility to quickly access it when you need it. As with all THYRM products, the PyroVault 2.0 is designed and made in the USA.
