This is a vintage Made in USA chrome tailpiece from the 1980's.
Most popular with the 335 and Les Paul guitars but will work with just about any USA made Gibson with a stop tail piece.
These sometimes came stock in the late 1970s and Early 1980s Les Paul Customs.
