1983 XR1000 Harley Davidson frame and engine are numbers matching, orig front forks. Fresh motor, Darcy heads and Intake manifolds, Red shift cams, Barnett clutch, 36mm flat slide carbs, Carbon seat and tank. Kenny Tolbert did the gear box yes that Kenny Tolbert) he changed the shift pattern so that my rear pointing gear shift lever is still 1 down 3 up for the rear sets. Changed it from a generator to alternator, 19” wheels front & rear, Buchanan laced the Harley hubs to Sun Rims. Swingarm was extended to accommodate the 19’’ rear wheel. Rusty Studer, Owner D&D Exhaust built the engine. JE Pistons,520 Chain, Storz jet kit, Twintek Ignition. Kenny Tolbert Supertrapp exhaust. It runs and drives, needs a few things like wiring tidied up and obviously paint, I just haven’t had time to finish. Excellent opportunity for someone to put their own touch on this street tracker.
