Original illustration mades directly from historic objects and letterform hand-stenciled in New England on 100% cotton Union-Made in the USA t-shirts. These are pre-shrunk cotton and have a slightly slimmer silhouette.

This is not your average shirt! (see details on the process below) Patterned and sewn like a classic piece of workwear, designed with history in mind, created completely in America, and made to last a lifetime. Get an American 250 souvenir that will be around in another 100 years and support small American business and manufacturing at the same time!


ABOUT THIS SHIRT

  • These shirts are knit, finished, cut and sewn by Union workers in the USA
  • Made of heavyweight 6.1oz pre-shrunk 100% cotton for any-season wear

  • Reinforced construction featuring open-end yarn, taped shoulder to shoulder, two needle sleeve and bottom hem

  • Each shirt is hand-stenciled here in New England using traditional shop-made oilboard stencils
  • Featuring the original American Objects “Fugio the Eagle” American 250 illustration
  • All materials and tools used in the hand-printing process are made in the USA
  • Painted using non-toxic fabric ink and every shirt is heat-set by hand ensuring many years of wears and washes that will create a unique wear-in over time
  • Custom neck label hand-stamped using traditional wood-handled rubber stamps made in the USA
  • Since the shirts are stenciled by hand, each one will have slight variations 
  • Unisex sizing - fits slightly on the larger size

DETAILS ON THE PROCESS
The designs of these stencils are literally drawn from history! This illustration was created here in-house. Made directly from original historic references and letterforms. Intricately hand-drawn and digitized. An authentic oilboard stencil was then created using the illustration, and the shirt you are buying was hand-painted using that stencil. In addition to making the stencil and stenciling the shirt, the neck label is then hand-stamped using an old-school rubber stamp and the entire shirt is heat-set by hand (using a flat iron) to ensure the ink will withstand a lifetime of washes and wear. 

All in all, it's traditional process that from start to finish takes nearly an hour per shirt. It's a labor of love!
