It's a mostly original 1948 WL, at some point the original motor was swapped for a 1956 flathead 45 Harley servicar motor (same motor). The bike has a clean Florida title and is currently registered, the state of Florida issued this antique motorcycle a new vin plate and is currently titled as a 1956 Harley Davidson (early Harleys did not have frame numbers so the title reflects the year of the engine).

This motorcycle is reliable and starts easily, 2-3 prime kicks and 1 live kick, it always starts right up every time. Engine sounds great and no smoke. Bike has not been sitting; it does get ridden fairly regularly. A pleasure to ride, goes down the road straight and smooth, the foot clutch operates smoothly, and it shifts thru all 3 speeds with no issues. The rear brake operates like it should and the bike stops easily; the front brake works but seems a little weak.  All lights work. Everything operates like it should with the exception of the speedometer (it just stopped, not really sure). 

This motorcycle has been changed to 12-volt system and has a new battery, generator, and voltage regulator installed.

Tanks are clean and I have kept up on all the oil changes and transmission fluid changes. The tires are showing some age but still very rideable. As pictured the paint is coming off in areas, but all the metal is straight no dents and no rust anywhere. Frame is straight with no visible signs of welding or damage, engine alike, no broken fins on the jugs or heads.  

Jump on this bike and ride it just the way it sits, or restore it, choice is yours.  Only selling it because i could use the extra funds to replace my truck. I've got a couple panheads but always end up riding the 45, I'm going to miss this old bike, it's been a lot of fun.
