1967 was the first year for the electric start, and only year with both kick and electric. Because of their racing history, these model Sportsters shifted on the right side with rear brake lever on the left. A 900 CC with exposed distributor make these bikes look unique. Fresh motor built by Zippers with approximately 5,000 miles.
This bike is all original and period-correct with regards to lenses, tank, fenders (original to the bike but the front fender has been bobbed). It runs good, stops good, looks and sounds really cool. Custom paint (black with expertly painted flames) with bobbed front fender makes this bike a head-turner. Buyer responsible for pick up in Hollywood, MD or you can arrange for shipping. Clear title and keys in-hand. Sold as-is.
