Sargent 12370 Scientific Glass Bench Burner, Made in USA
The Sargent 12370 is a glass bench burner used in scientific glassworking and made in the USA. It is a gas-and-air torch which features a central candle and outer fire candles. The torch is used for industrial or artistic glass torchworking. I acquired the torch at an estate sale. I have not tested the torch. I have cleaned the torch head holes with a tip cleaner. I have blown compressed air through the valves and the torch head. Please see the video. I recommend that the torch be inspected and evaluated by a qualified individual before use.
