This Chief was professionally restored by Keith Wilson of Starklite Indian. It is a beautiful bike that was a full nut and bolt restoration from the frame up.

Just a fantastic machine from every angle. Everything works on it, its a strong runner. The bike has been set up with a more conventional right hand throttle and left hand shifter setup, making it easier and more familiar to ride than the original left hand throttle setup.

The bike has about 1000 miles on the restoration. About 200 miles ago, in pursuit of slightly more power (and to needlessly spend more $$$ just because), Kiwi Indian did an overbored top end and installed a pair of their Bonneville heads. Its a 74ci machine but was upgraded with Carillo rods when it was restored.

Great running bike, doesn't leak or smoke. It has just been serviced for the sale with fresh oil, oil filter, battery, and air filter.

You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer example of a Chief, especially one restored properly by an experienced Indian enthusiast like this one.

The bike has a clean title and is located in Grass Valley, CA zipcode 95945. I am happy to meet with a shipper and can recommend an excellent and very reasonable one if you are on the West Coast (he does CA, OR, and WA only).
