Up for auction, and your consideration, is this Coleman Model 202 Lantern!
NOTE: Please read all of the text in the description!
The Coleman company produced the Model 202 lantern from 1954 to 1963. Besides the model number, Coleman also gave this one a formidable name, "The Professional".
What sets it apart from it's Model 200A cousin is the fact it has a brass nickel plated brass fount, a green vent and a stainless steel burner frame and bail handle. The one in this auction is an early 202 and was made in May of 1955.
This nickel plating on the fount of this 202 is pretty decent with some minor blemishes. The vent does have a number of chips. The burner frame show tarnish from use.
We have completely disassembled this Professional and all parts cleaned or replaced as needed. Upon reassembly, it received a new fuel cap gasket, generator and Coleman logo. The pump leather has been oiled. The lantern has been fueled. It pumps up and holds pressure. When the valve wheel is opened, there is the familiar hiss and gurgle of a working lantern. This 202 retains it's original ceramic burner cap and Pyrex green letter Colemans rising sun logo globe.
For looking pretty in a collector's collection or lighting up a campsite, this Coleman 202 is ready for action! We know this as it has been tested and it works great!

PACKING: We pack your items the same way we would want to receive them. That is, we pack to minimize any chance of breakage. Lanterns are disassembled of globe, vent and bail handle. The globe is bubble wrapped and then placed in a coffee can or separate carton before being placed in the shipping carton. All other pieces are bubble wrapped and all voids are packed with suitable light weight material so that all parts are immobilized inside the shipping carton.
Fuel will be emptied from all lanterns & stove before shipping!
SHIPPING:
PLEASE NOTE! Due to items being damaged with combined shipping, we will combine only TWO won items per shipping carton!!
We use UPS Ground or USPS for the majority of our domestic shipping. International shipping is via Priority Mail International. Of course, if your item is within First Class weight limitations, we will ship First Class Mail. We will combine shipping when possible, but no more than two won items per carton! Please feel free to email us for a shipping estimate. We try to ship your item within 24 hours of received payment.
NOTE: Since we do use PayPal and eBay shipping, it is impossible for us to change the final price of an auctioned item. We are sorry, but we are unable to falsify any final sales price to avoid tariffs or other fees.

We will also attempt to find a less expensive shipping alternative when possible.
