Up for auction, and your consideration, is this Coleman Model 200A "Burgundy" Lantern!

The Coleman Company produced the Model 200A lantern from 1951 to 1983. the one in this sale was made in October of 1961. During production of the Model 200A, Coleman made them with some variations. Between roughly September of 1961 and May of 1962,Coleman 200As were produced in a burgundy color. It's believed, that Coleman got a batch of vents that were burgundy in color. Rather that have them redone, Coleman matched the paint on the founts to the vents. Collectors nicknamed this model "Burgs". The one in this auction was made in October of 1961.
This lantern is in fair condition. The original paint on the fount does look like crap with missing paint and chips. The original vent does have some very minor chips. The original burner frame was in poor condition, so it was replaced with a frame that was treated with Chromex. This Burg has an era correct globe. It appears the fuel cap is a replacement as it doesn't match the paint on the fount.
This 200A has been disassembled and all parts cleaned. Upon reassembly, it received a new fuel cap gasket and generator. The pump leather has been oiled. The lantern has been fueled. It pumps up and holds pressure. When the valve wheel is opened, there is the hiss and gurgle of a working lantern.
This lantern is ready to go on your next camping trip to provide light. It could also be very beneficial during emergencies!

PACKING: We pack your items the same way we would want to receive them. That is, we pack to minimize any chance of breakage. Lanterns are disassembled of globe, vent and bail handle. The globe is bubble wrapped and then placed in a coffee can or separate carton before being placed in the shipping carton. All other pieces are bubble wrapped and all voids are packed with suitable light weight material so that all parts are immobilized inside the shipping carton.

Fuel will be emptied from all lanterns & stove before shipping!

SHIPPING: PLEASE NOTE! Due to items being damaged with combined shipping, we will combine only TWO won items per shipping carton!!

We use UPS Ground or USPS for the majority of our domestic shipping. International shipping is via Priority Mail International or, if less expensive, we may ship via UPS. Of course, if your item is within First Class weight limitations, we will ship First Class Mail. We will combine shipping when possible, but no more than two won items per carton! Please feel free to email us for a shipping estimate. We try to ship your item within 24 hours of received payment.

NOTE: Since we do use PayPal and eBay shipping, it is impossible for us to change the final price of an auctioned item. We are sorry, but we are unable to falsify any final sales price to avoid tariffs or other fees.
