Bulleit × Noble Denim Barrel-Aged Trucker Jacket Made with Cone Mills White Oak Selvedge, Large 2016 Limited Collab

A true collector's piece: a denim jacket aged inside real Bulleit Bourbon barrels, handmade in the USA from Cone Mills White Oak selvedge denim — one of the last small-batch garments produced before the historic White Oak mill closed forever. 

In December 2016, Cincinnati-based small-batch denim maker Noble Denim teamed up with Bulleit Bourbon for a one-time, six-barrel run of jackets. Noble set aside six bourbon barrels, half-filled with five-to-seven-year-old Bulleit, and rested the finished jackets inside for an extended period. The bourbon ages the indigo in unpredictable ways — and continues to evolve as the jacket is worn. The release was sold only on nobledenim.com beginning December 6, 2016, with limited brick-and-mortar drops.

The denim itself comes from the Cone Mills White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina — founded in 1905 and the last operating shuttle-loom selvedge denim mill in the United States. White Oak ceased production on December 31, 2017, ending 112 years of continuous operation. Garments made from genuine White Oak selvedge cannot be reproduced today. This jacket was made in the final window of that mill's history.
