Newly Upcycled antique Georgian .30ct old mine diamond, silver, 14k gold ring

Upcycled antique Georgian period 0.30 carat old mine cut diamond, 14 karat gold and silver solitaire / engagement ring. SKU 3639i .

This is a newly upcycled diamond solitiare / engagement ring with an antique Georgian period 0.30 carat old mine cut diamond in its original antique sterling silver buttercup basket on a new 14kt yellow ring shank. The antique portion is approximately 200 years old and has wear consistent with its age. It has no damage. The new portion is in very good condition with no damage.

0.30 carats is the actual weight of the diamond. It measures approximately 4.5 mm long and 4 mm wide.

The diamond is near colorless (H-J) and the inclusions are not detectable or are very difficult to detect with the unaided eye (I1).

The original antique buttercup basket is 92.5% pure silver with a 14kt gold base.

The finger size is 6 and the ring can be sized without altering the design or the structural integrity.

I do not have rings sized. It is best for you to have the ring sized only after you have seen it in person and are sure you are completely satisfied with it. It is also best to work directly in person with the jeweler who will be doing the sizing to be sure of a correct and comfortable fit.

NOTE: Before the upcycling, the silver buttercup basket was all black or dark gray from approximately 200 years of natural tarnishing. Most of the tarnish was polished away during the upcycling. Some spots and patches of black/gray tarnish remain in tiny natural pits in the silver or hard to reach places.

I process shipping within 3 days of the order, excluding weekends and holidays, and I use express services that are scheduled to deliver within 3 days of receiving the package from me.

I typically use UPS or USPS. Exceptions may occur due to circumstances beyond my control such as the destination or nature of the item ordered, but this is rare. I will notify the buyer immediately if this occurs and will select the carrier and service that provides the most expeditious and safe delivery available.

Delays by the shipping carrier are beyond my control and may occur, but I will do everything possible to have your package arrive as scheduled.

Shipping outside of the U.S. will usually be by UPS Worldwide Express Saver with Adult signature required for delivery. In some instances, shipping may be by USPS Priority Mail Express.

The Shipping Charge will usually be approximately $110. Shipping costs may vary due to location, shipping service or other circumstances.
