It incorporates a Suntour NEX-E25 suspension fork with 50mm of travel and hydraulic lockout for bump absorption and efficient pedaling. The bike employs a Shimano ESSA 8-speed drivetrain with a single front chainring and wide-range cassette for simplified shifting. Vittoria Terreno Dry 700x40c semi-knobby tires provide grip on pavement and unpaved surfaces. Additional features include Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power and an Intellimount stem compatible with SP-Connect phone accessories. The frame issue was due to the absence of a slot for the seatpost clamp to properly compress. A slot has since been added, and it is now functioning as intended.
