WHY POPLAR?
Poplar is an excellent wood choice for guitar bodies. It is very similar to Alder in that it is lightweight, gave a warm tone, and is extremely easy to work with. Poplar is relatively lightweight and has a closed grain with very few imperfections. Poplar is among the easiest woods to finish and accepts paints, fillers, and sealers easily. Poplar works great for solid color finishes as well as bursts and “relic” finishes. Because it has a very closed grain it is not usually used for clear finishes. Poplar is a “farmed” tree as it is very fast growing and easy to replenish.

-  100% Made by veterans in the USA

-  The multi piece body shown is the exact body you will receive

-  This body has no finish.  Additional filling, sanding and finishing will be required.  You should seal it as soon as possible to avoid splits etc.

-  Wiring holes between pickups and control cavity are drilled

-  The first picture is the actual body you will receive, the picture of the rear is a stock picture to show the rear contours, the other pictures are pictures of SIMILAR veneers for you to use as inspiration.  We do not do any finishing work.  This listing is for the unfinished body ONLY!

-  The two biggest issues that arise are "My neck doesn't fit right" and/or "I didn't realize how much work it is to sand and finish".  Measure your neck FIRST and be prepared to put the work in to finish the body.

We can make custom BODIES only.  I am sorry we do not offer ANY custom necks or anything other than custom bodies.  We do not offer ANY finishing services.  Unfinished bodies only.

I am sorry but we do not drill the bridge holes. With SO many bridge and neck choices available, each one different, the BEST way to install the bridge is to mount your neck first, then position the bridge for proper alignment and intonation, then USE THE BRIDGE ITSELF as a template for drilling the holes. This way you can be assured that the bridge is mounted in the exact correct position, and that everything lines up and intonation is correct and the only tool it takes is a drill.
