This is a 1940 Chief that I have had for many years. It features a nice original frame. I do not see any trace of numbers on plunger casting. I was going to put numbers on the plunger to match engine, The plunger assemblies are both new old stock. The plunger cups are not installed and are NOS also. The front end was from a military chief. I added the lower fender mounts. The rocker pins are the longer style because of the fender brackets on military fender. I am including the correct ones. Handlebar is reproduction. with only left original spiral. Wheels are 18 inch. Rear drum is NOS with new sprocket. Speedometer drive and center stand are NOS. Tank is 1940 and very straight. Front fender is correct 1940 and has repair to the front tip. Rear fender is 1941 because of the toolbox mounting. Original dash cover has a hairline crack. Everything included is nice.
