Letting my rare 1937 Harley-Davidson WLDR factory race bike go to fund a large real estate purchase. I have clear certificate of title. Harley-Davidson only produced 145 WLDR factory race models in 1937. The engine is freshly & expertly rebuilt by Joe Bardell of Bardell's Speed & Machine in New Jersey (look Joe up). It has not been raced since the rebuild, and you will need to complete break-in before racing. The engine has the rare, one-year-only 1940 WLDR cylinders & heads with larger fins, gasket surface, valves, & intake ports with big ULH intake manifold- which greatly improves flow & horsepower over the standard 1937 top-end. VIN (37WLDR3118) & matching line-bore "belly" numbers (37-3135) are LEGIT & within range of each other. Cases, cylinders, & heads have no breaks or repairs. This is really nice stuff. Engine starts in one kick and is very powerful with high lift & duration WR profile camshafts. Fairbanks Morse magneto has hot spark. The paint on the tanks & fenders is OUSTANDING. Frame is original paint Harley-Davidson military WLA frame, and it is mint with no breaks or repairs. Gearbox is 1938 2-bolt 3-speed, and shifts nicely. All of the parts are original Harley-Davidson except for gas tanks, oil lines, rear stand, exhaust, foot pegs, & kicker pedal. I'm told the 6" air cleaner is reproduction, but I don't know how to verify. Rear fender is Harley-Davidson Hummer. Wheels are 19" Kelsey-Hayes on new Dunlop rubber. Rear hub is H-D star hub, front hub is VL. Handlebars are reproduction FLH police bars, but I do have a set of original springer handlebars that I would swap out for these. Seat is quality reproduction Mesinger board track seat from Poland. I will help with shipping worldwide. Trust my 100% positive feedback. located near Nashville, Tennessee.
