1970s MADE in USA "707 Comupta Bank" Coin Sorting Bank Toy
This "707 Computa Bank" in its original box was found at an estate sale in San Diego, California. It was made in the United States by Superior Toy Manufacturing Company. I took it out of its box to take photos and see if the gears worked (they do!), but I did not attempt to sort any coins. A plastic handle which turns the gears is inside the toy (the bottom is removeable by included metal key). <div><br></div><div>The bank is in good condition considering it is likely from the 1970s. <div><br></div><div>The patent #3299899 was approved in 1967 and is publicly available on the internet.</div></div><div><br></div><div>There is dirt on the outside of the toy shown in the pictures and a crack in the clear plastic face on the front.</div><div><br></div><div>Please let me know if you have questions.</div>
Toy is about 6.5" wide by 10" tall.
