Notice to first-time powder guide coat users. The dry powder guide coat will not clog sandpaper. Some brands of polyester and plastic fillers will cure with an almost invisible sticky layer on the surface. This film must be "broken open" before applying the powder. Running lightly over the surface with 180 grit sandpaper will usually be enough to clear the film. This can also be problematic with improperly mixed or not fully cured primer fillers.
