For sale is a Specialized Sequoia frameset, in size 54, from the model year 2017 Expert trim.
In excellent condition. There is some minor paint loss under the seat collar (see photo). It was my first nice bike so I babied it.
Included: frame and carbon fork custom frame pack by Lone Peak FSA headset seat collar thru-axles rear brake bolts derailleur hanger x2
This frame has that sometimes mysterious and hard-to-predict-from-geometry-alone quality of being very easy to ride no-handed. It fits a 700x50 slick tire, less if knobs. Can also go 650B, probably same clearance.
Makes a great all-road, gravel, commuter, city, or touring bike. One of the last steel frames Specialized made.
I would estimate the mileage at about 4000. It was always kept indoors and never crashed.
As mentioned above, this is from the Expert trim. I believe not all the trims from this model year had the same tube set. This one has a custom-butted cro-moly set that has always felt light and springy to me.
Attached at the end are some photos I took of this frame as I rode it, in both drop and flat bar form, so you can imagine what it might look like built up (full bike not included in sale). Looking at those makes me nostalgic! But it hasn't been ridden much lately, so better it go to someone who will use it.

Geometry and Specs: Head angle is 71.5 with trail in the mid-60s. Stack is 566 and reach is 388. Effective top tube is about 552. Chainstays are a goldilocks 435, with a wheelbase of 1037. Standover is 770ish. Seat tube is 480 with an angle of 74. BB drop is 67 so you can run 650B as well. Head tube is 130. Fork A-C is about 403 with a rake of 50. Tapered fork steerer with integrated crown race is cut to 216. Compression plug is installed. Headset is a FSA semi-integrated one which is in great shape. BB is threaded BSA 68. Seat tube takes a 27.2 seatpost. See photos for mounts/ports.
