FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
*Q: How many cases will fit in the Regular and Grande models?
A: The Regular model holds about 5–7 acoustic and electric cases. The Grande fits about 7–9 cases, depending on their size. If you have only large acoustic cases or gig bags with bulky side pockets, the capacity may be less. The best way to know for sure is to measure all your cases side-by-side. The Regular fits up to 36″ wide total, and the Grande fits up to 47.5″ wide.
Q: Can the rack hold cases for Gibson Flying V, Firebirds, Explorers and other odd-shaped instruments?
Cases for Gibson Firebirds and Explorers should fit fine. Flying Vs should fit if one of the sides and the bottom of the case form a right angle. Flying V cases will fit if one side and the bottom form a right angle. Some wedge-shaped Flying V cases might work if positioned carefully, but it’s not guaranteed.
Q: Can the rack sit directly against the wall?
A: Since the cases lean back slightly, you’ll need a few inches of space behind it. Plan for about 2–7″ depending on your case sizes.
Q: Will it hold cases for ukuleles or mandolins?
A: No, it won’t. If you need storage for ukulele and mandolin cases along with guitar cases, check out the Studio Deluxe guitar racks.
Q: What materials is the Studio Harmony made of?
A: The curved sides are a durable, scuff-resistant laminate over an MDF wood core. The three support rails are solid hardwood. If you’d like an option that’s more focused on real wood, see our full line of wooden guitar stands.
Q: How high will guitars sit from the floor?
A: Your guitars and cases will rest about 3 inches off the floor. If you live in an area prone to flooding, we strongly suggest keeping your guitars out of the basement.
Q: Can I order a custom size version?
A: Sorry but we are not accepting customization requests at this time.
