One of a kind handmade tote/shopping/grocery bag fashioned out of reclaimed vintage "flower power" type pillowcases from the 70s.
Fully lined and reversible!
One side of the bag is made from a recycled/upcycled percale pillowcase.
It features oversized flowers in pink, hot pink, white and purple with green leaves on a pale yellow background.
The reverse side is also made from a recycled/upcycled percale pillowcase.
It also features a floral print in a smaller scale.
The flowers are yellow and orange with light orange leaves on a white background
The tote handles are also made from a combination of both floral patterns.
The tote has a fleece interfacing, adding body to the bag. The interfacing is new, not upcycled.
It has one patch pocket on the yellow flower side.
It is made from the pink floral fabric.
The open pocket measures about 7 inches long and 5 inches wide,
It features a double lining - basically a double pocket (see photos).
The tote has an open top (no closures).
Measurements:
Tote measures about 14.5 in high x 13 in wide with a 6 in deep gusset
Handles are 1.5 in wide with a 13 in drop.
As shown in the photos, the bag can lay flat on the top opening, so the opening - not including the gusset - is about 18.5 inches wide.
The bottom of the bag is about 13 in wide x 6 inches deep.
Condition:
New, unused one of a kind tote bag handmade with reclaimed/upcycled fabric from vintage 70s pillowcases.
Every tote I make is unique - using different fabrics and details.
Handmade, machine sewn one at a time; hand-cut, hand assembled, therefore....perfectly imperfect!
Fleece interfacing is new (not upcycled).
