1941 Indian Military 741 Scout

This 1941 Indian Scout 741 is part of a Private California Collection. This was the first Indian motorcycle purchased by the owner and it has been in storage over the past few years because the collection grew! The bike was purchased in San Diego in 2005. It was originally from Australia and was part of a prison program called "Bikers behind Bars" where inmates rebuilt the bike and painted it from scratch. It comes with the original bumble cleaner that was common on Australian bound 741s during the war. The bike is a great runner. A true 30.50 though so not very powerful. The bike has completed several road runs over the years and it Hasn’t been on the road consistently in about 5 years. It was recently serviced and run with no problems and then put back into storage. This bike has always been a good, reliable runner. This is a great piece of prewar or war WWII motorcycle history.
This Indian Scout has a California Title and current registration.
