Up for sale is an incredible piece of mountain biking history: a 1982/1983 Specialized Stumpjumper in its iconic satin silver finish. This is a remarkably well-preserved "survivor" that has been cherished and well-maintained for over 40 years.

This particular frame (Serial #AJ346040) features the highly desirable "Bi-Plane" crown fork, found only on the earliest production models. This bike represents the dawn of the mountain bike era and is a must-have for any serious vintage cycling collection.

• Frame: TIG-welded/Lugged Japanese 4130 Chromoly Steel (Hand-built quality).

• Fork: Original Lugged "Bi-Plane" Crown (Straight and true).

• Crankset: Period-correct Sugino AT (Aero Tour) Triple – The gold standard of early 80s MTB cranks.
