1963 Harley-Davidson XLCH Ironhead Sportster Magneto-Fired Kick-Only True Survivor! Clean Vin Clean Title
This is a 1963 Harley-Davidson XLCH Ironhead Sportster showing 18,981 miles on the odometer. It’s a magneto-fired, kick-start-only bike finished in its older orange paint and still wearing its period-correct setup.
This is an honest, unrestored survivor. The bike is complete but has been sitting and will need to be gone through mechanically before riding.
Early XLCH models were built as lightweight, stripped-down performance bikes, and this one still has that raw, no-frills look that made early Sportsters famous.
Condition & Appearance
The paint shows its age with wear, fading, and surface imperfections from years of use and storage. The tank, fenders, trim, and badging are all still in place. Chrome and aluminum parts show oxidation and natural patina throughout. Nothing has been cleaned up or restored — what you see is exactly how it’s been preserved.
Mechanical
Powered by the classic Ironhead V-twin with factory magneto ignition and kick-start only. The bike is not currently running and should be considered a recommissioning project. No mechanical or cosmetic restoration has been attempted.
