This is a beautiful 1957 Harley Davidson 45 Solo model. It is titled in my name as a 1957 G model as it has a Servi motor and 3 speed transmission with reverse in it. I do not know the history on this bike. When I bought it, I was told the owner bought it because it was so nice and stored it as a display inside for 10 plus years. The owner before him last registered the bike in 1997. If I was to guess, it was restored at that time and has never really been ridden since. Whoever restored it, meticulously chromed, polished, or replaced everything with new fasteners. They did an excellent job and obviously knew what they were doing. I cannot honestly say what is original or what is reproduction on this bike. Please study and feel free to ask any questions. I have collected Harley's for 30 years, and this is the cleanest antique bike I have ever seen. The frame is powder coated black, and I believe the motor is as well. The fenders and tank have a beautiful deep metallic burgundy color that changes in the sun. Some small scratch's here and there, hardly noticeable. Small dent in front left tank that I had no idea was even there. (see photo) There are some unnecessary holes in the back fender from an improper seat that was since replaced. (see photo) I cleaned the carb and put new plugs in it. That is about all I have done. The carb needs to be dialed in to run perfect. I have only put maybe 5 miles on the bike, it starts, runs, shifts, and brakes like it should. See the included video. Clutch works good I'm just not used to the foot clutch set up. It needs to be ridden and little things worked out. Also, the air filter needs a better mounting. The kickstand is sticky. I don't have the key for ignition switch. The charging system was converted to 12-volt electrics and all lights working and charging great. Handlebar wiring could be improved on a little. Few fins broke off of cylinder heads, see photos.Tiny ding in headlight ring. Has the usual sumping they all do, with the occasional oil under the bike. I have honestly tried to list  ALL imperfections, but this is a beautifully restored, running 1957 Harley Flathead 45. I would be willing to meet someone halfway for delivery if not too far, for the price of gas. I could go with you to a bank or a department of licensing to transfer title and make payment also. I can also deliver bike to a shipping carrier of your choice. However, you would prefer. This bike is sold in AS IN condition. Please ask any and ALL questions prior to bidding.
