This Coleman lantern is marked on the middle metal strip; "237 USE GENERATOR No. 237-229".  The front is marked; "Coleman THE SUNSHINE OF THE NIGHT 10   64".  This dates it from October of 1964.  The knob is marked; "MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".  The glass globe is marked in red pyro; "Coleman MADE IN U.S.A.".  The lantern is in very nice condition with the green enamel top having only one tiny flake next to the handle hole.  The glass globe is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks and almost no signs of wear.  The chrome base is in very nice condition but does have some minor oxidation around the curved top part.  It is missing the single mantle and I did not test it but the knobs and everything seems to work.  This is a beautiful Coleman lantern.  Winning U.S. bidder pays $28.00 USPS Ground shipping cost.
