I found this 76 XLCH after it had been parked over 30m years ago. I rebuilt the front master cylinder and caliper. Rebuilt the adjustable main Zenith carb and replaced the intake O-rings. Replaced the clutch friction discs. Replace the chain tensioner while I was in there. Kicker would slip through so I replaced the ratchet gears. It works great now. Mounted new Avon tires with new tubes and bead strips. Bike is super clean and would be even better with a good detailing. I took it for a short 25 mile ride and it ran very well. It needs to be dialed in. I may get to it, but no promises. As far as I can tell, beside what's been mentioned this bike is completely original.
