Marx Crazy Express Windup Zig Zag Train Made in USA - Yes it Works!
Here is one of those classic tin lithographed Zig Zag type train toys put out by Louis Marx & Company. This one is the "Crazy Express" version of the Zig Zag, with a silver plastic #66 engine pulling yellow, green and red lithographed tin coaches full of nutty characters! A version made in the US (according to the Marx logo on the last coach). These were sold for several years, and you can find several colors of engines on them. Beautiful, whimsical, and in decent shape (moderate wear, and light corrosion) and WORKING (see the short test video I've included).
