I make everything myself in my own forge.  I source as many raw materials as possible in the USA

5160 Steel is a high-carbon steel that is excellent for knifemaking. 5160 will keep an edge much better than stainless steels, but are also more susceptible to rust without proper care.

58-60HRC - SHARP!

90-Degree Spine

1 13/16" Wide Blade

4.5" Long Red Colored Micarta Handle

3/16" Thick at the Spine (at thickest part)

Corby Bolts

Paracord Lanyard

I tested this blade on a crabapple tree with no damage whatsoever to the edge.  Very very sharp!

The knife comes with the high-quality cowhide leather sheath in the photos. I use sno-seal coating to ensure water resistance to the sheath. Black

KNIFE CARE AND CLEANING:  When needed, use a Diamond Wet Stone or better to re-sharpen the blade at 20-degrees. When done using the knife, wash it in soap and water, dry completely, coat in gun oil and store away from the sheath. Leather pulls moisture out of the air and can rust the blade if stored improperly.
