This is one beautiful Bowie knife and to get the knife you see is a rare thing especially when you have over 1400 listing. We wanted to point out to you the Pearling around the Crown it gives this Bowie knife so much more character pic. #8 shows it the best, this is something you just do not see on many other knives / brands. If you want a one of these knives for less money ask us it won't have the character of this knife. The handle on this knife is 5+" DIA. at the crown 6" DIA. and Pearling all the way around, and almost 6" long if you have large hands you'll love this Bowie You will also have a fantastic Display Piece! Each knife made will be different and have its own character like the whitetail deer carved into the handle plus no two sheds can look or be the same and there's a 2 1/2" Brass Tee Guard. So the blade, & Handle are both top-notch now check out the Sheath and the tie-down again all hand made in the U.S.A. It has a design of its own and a larger then a normal piece of leather wrap tying it together then there are several long leather straps tie-downs and two with an antler tip at the end that are used to hold your knife in the sheath which you can see in the pictures. Now for those of you that would like a large Bowie knife made in the U.S.A. with all top of the line materials for $154.89 delivered to your home here is your chance. I hated to raise my price but, eBay is taking 12.7% plus .30 cents each order and with shipping, the last one I shipped in the U.S. cost $17.37 USPS priority mail & fees,- $20.14, $37.51 just to sell this knife, the last one cost $38.68 that is allot of money depending on where you live I was losing money, we try very hard to be as fair as we can but you need to know things like this. I should be able to make more then $6.21 on this knife , I could sell it for even more with no problem not on eBay, this is one superior knife in many ways looks , the way it was made and the materials used to make, being made in the U.S.A. plus all of the little extra's it has. $200. is a fair price but its not how we work. Starting with the Blade its made with 1085 Spring Steel, 85% carbon tempered to blue spring steel. The blade is 8 1/4" overall and completely custom made the blade edge is 8" + or -", Measurements may vary slightly due to the variances in the natural materials. Plus the blade has two sharp edges, you have the 7 1/4" of blade edge on the bottom and on top of the blade, there's about 5" of edge, sharp edge. Also, notice the spine it runs up the center of the blade to give the tip much-added strength. The high carbon alloy allows the blade to hold its edge longer and when needed sharpening is easy, you will want to keep a light coating of oil on the blade. Now the Handle it is either Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer or ELK it is the crown of one of these sheds, and this one has allot of pearling so there's no way you should ever lose your grip. If you do not have large hands you might not want this knife its shape and dia. would make it difficult for a person with small hands to handle this correctly, this is one awesome handle with all of its different shapes etc; but I want you to be safe, they had to cut down some of the pearling it stuck out so far, I am 6' 2" & 204lbs I have no problems using this knife but for a person with small hands please think about this.
