HUBLEY - CAST IRON FIGURE PAPERWEIGHT - WIMPY WITH “© K.F.S. 1929 MADE IN U.S.A.” INCISED ON HIS BACK

Offered is a Hubley, cast iron paperweight of a Wimpy figure from the Popeye cartoons with the following incised on his back: © K.F.S. 1929 Made In U.S.A.!

Our cast iron Wimpy Paperweight is in very good condition.  There  is no damage noted to the solid cast iron construction of our Wimpy Paperweight.  There is only minor paint damage for his age (circa 1929).  The minor paint damaged consists of spots of paint loss noted on his hat, face, jacket, hands, shirt, tie pants and shoes.   Our Wimpy Paperweight measures approximately 3 inches tall, 1¼ inches deep, 2 inches wide from the outside of each of Wimpy’s hands and he weighs approximately 8.0 oz.
